The stories behind some of Revelstoke’s most successful businesses and innovative startups.
Pulse Labs Inc.
The Pulse ProFlex, was conceived by a group of passionate skiers, boot fitters, software engineers and management professionals in response to the need for higher performance boots.
The development team noticed a lack of performance in the newer, lighter boots with walk modes in comparison to their alpine counter parts. So they embarked on the development of the Pulse ProFlex , which is a plastic insert installed in the tongue of your ski boot, stiffening the boot 15-30 per cent.
After several prototype incarnations, the team has come up with an injection mold, the first of its kind in the industry. They recently raised funds for their first production run through Kickstarter. For more information on the Pulse ProFlex visit pulsefitsystem.com
